My Margaret was 11 years old when she had vomiting and headaches over a time span of 6 weeks. Our wonderful Pediatrician sent us to the hospital once for a spinal tap. The ER doctor said she was dehydrated and sent us home. Her symptoms continued and our pediatrician told me to call a neurologist who got us in the same day. After he examined her we went to the ER for a CT scan. The scan showed a tumor in the middle of her brain.
She had a biopsy the end of November 2012.
January 2013 Margaret had most of her tumor removed.
The tumor was found to be malignant and she started Chemo and Radiation treatment the 3 weeks after her surgery.
She has began her 12 month cycle of chemo. She never finished the 12 month cycle. At almost a year the tumor exploded in her brain and spine and she passed away 13 months after her
