Margaret A. Walling, age 12, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2013. She was born on July 13, 2001, the beloved daughter of Christopher and Donna (Murphy) Walling.
Although Margaret’s life on earth was far too short, her courage, kindness, and spirit continue to inspire us every day.
From the beginning, Margaret and I spoke about giving back once she recovered. We did not receive the recovery we prayed for, but our family remains committed to honoring her wish.
Smiles for Margaret will continue to support the community, just as the community so lovingly supported us.
There is always someone in need—and through Smiles for Margaret, we will carry forward Margaret’s legacy of love, compassion, and giving.
